Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Weed Cougars (Weed, CA), 20-18 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Trinity improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 15. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-1.

With the loss, Weed drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA) to confront the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Bears come into the test with a record of 2-0. Mt. Shasta won 22-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA)
