Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Connellsville toppled by Thomas Jefferson
September 1, 2024: Connellsville, PA 15425 Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Thomas Jefferson moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA) to meet the Colonials in a WPIAL AAA 3 test on Thursday, September 5. The Colonials come into the test with a record of 1-3.
The Falcons now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Greensburg Salem for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Connellsville will meet a Golden Lions team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 0-3.
