September 1, 2025: Mitchell, SD 57301 The Mitchell Kernels held off the visiting Groton Tigers soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Kernels face the Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. Mitchell will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Tea (Tea, SD).
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Central (Hartford, SD). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, West Central was nudged by Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD), 4-2, in a league bout.
