In Friday's league match, the host Annapolis Panthers football squad scored a good 23-6 victory over the Glen Burnie Gophers.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Crofton (Gambrills, MD) in a Anne Arundel County match, on Friday, September 17. Annapolis will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 41-0 league loss to Severna Park (Severna Park, MD).
