September 10, 2021: Galax, VA 24333 The Carroll County Cavaliers football team (Hillsville, VA), was tipped 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA)
The Maroon Tide (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Radford nipped Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 48-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wythe for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 17. Carroll County will meet a Maroons team coming off a 16-13 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 2-2.
