The Cedar Reds thwarted the host Hurricane Tigers football team by a count of 35-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Cedar upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Reds host Pine View (St. George, UT) to encounter the Panthers in a 4A Region 10 outing on Friday, September 17. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Pine View lost 31-28 in their recent league outing against Dixie (St. George, UT)

With the loss, Hurricane falls to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host Snow Canyon (St. George, UT) to face the Warriors in a 4A Region 10 bout on Friday, September 17. The Warriors enter the bout with a record of 3-2. Snow Canyon lost 20-7 in their recent league bout against Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT)
