September 10, 2021: Marshall, NC 28753 Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Enka Jets (Enka, NC), 26-21 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Madison improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Mitchell (Bakersville, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A West Conference 42 test on Friday, September 17. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Mitchell lost 26-14 in their recent non-league test against Andrews (Andrews, NC)
With the loss, Enka drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Jets host Erwin (Asheville, NC) to battle the Warriors in a 3A/4A West Conference 53 test on Friday, September 17. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-2. Erwin won 28-21 in their recent non-league test against Brevard (Brevard, NC)
