The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers come into the Central State Eight challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Normal University nipped Lanphier (Springfield, IL), 1-0, in a league challenge.
The Generals now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenwood for a Central State Eight challenge on Saturday, September 18. MacArthur will meet a Titans team coming off a 35-28 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
