The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) and the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), observed Sandy Creek's football squad defeat Starr's Mill by a count of 37-16.

The Patriots now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster for a AAA Region 5 contest on Friday, September 17. Sandy Creek will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 31-21 league win over Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 contest, on Friday, September 24. Starr's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
