The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Wauconda defeated Tournament Opponent (, ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 11. Taft will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Resurrection (Chicago, IL).
