In Saturday's league match, the visiting Montgomery Cougars football squad scored a good 35-7 victory over the Plainfield Cardinals.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 16. Montgomery will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
