The Needles Mustangs football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Parker Broncs to 21 in the Mustangs non-league win on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Laughlin for a 2A Southern battle on Friday, September 16. Needles will play a Cougars squad coming off a 14-13 non-league loss to Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Broncs play the Wickenburg Wranglers (Wickenburg, AZ) in a 3A West battle, on Friday, September 16. Parker will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Wranglers go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 48-15 non-league loss to Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ).
