Minnesota High School Soccer - Lourdes knocks off Fairmont
September 10, 2022: Fairmont, MN 56031 Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they saw their soccer squad beat the host Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), 4-0 in a non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cotter for a Class A Section 1 match on Monday, September 12.
With the loss, Fairmont drops to 0-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Worthington (Worthington, MN) to encounter the Trojans in a Class A Section 2 match on Tuesday, September 13. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 0-4. Worthington lost 9-0 in their recent league match against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)
