With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 13-1 on the year. The Defenders travel to Kennedy (La Palma, CA) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Kennedy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA)
