September 10, 2022: Yucaipa, CA 92399 The Yucaipa Thunderbirds held off the visiting Chino Hills Huskies volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ontario Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Yucaipa will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.
The Huskies (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles enter the test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Etiwanda was nudged by Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
