September 10, 2022: Dayton, OH 45419 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH) and the visiting Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH), saw Oakwood's soccer squad knock off Shawnee by a count of 3-0.
The Lumberjacks now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Waynesville for a Southwestern Buckeye - East test on Thursday, September 15. Oakwood will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 2-2 league Monroe (Monroe, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Shawnee falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Defiance (Defiance, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Western Buckeye outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 1-7. Defiance won 16-0 in their recent league outing against Van Wert (Van Wert, OH)
