The Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO) volleyball overcame the visiting Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Summersville (Summersville, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 10. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Summersville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Central (Cape Girardeau, MO)

The Tigers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Gideon for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 10. Central will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jefferson (Festus, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
