Alabama High School Volleyball - Sumiton Christian can't hold off Cherokee
September 10, 2022: Cherokee, AL 35616 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Cherokee Indians volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Sumiton Christian Eagles.
The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Colbert County nudged Sheffield (Sheffield, AL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Sumiton Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Tigers enter the test with a 18-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Beech (Hendersonville, TN).
