The Leland Comets (Leland, MI) volleyball nudged the visiting Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Leland upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Comets travel to Glen Lake (Maple City, MI) to face the Lakers in a Northwest outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Lakers go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
