Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), 22-0 in a non-league battle.

The Wolverines (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Escondido (Escondido, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Escondido gained a win over Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), 31-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 12. Granite Hills will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Francis Parker (San Diego, CA).
