September 10, 2024: Mercer Island, WA 98040 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA) and the host Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), saw Skyline's soccer squad hold off Mercer Island by a score of 1-0.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bethel (Spanaway, WA). The Bison enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Bethel was edged by Kentwood (Covington, WA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Islanders confront the Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Mercer Island will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
