September 10, 2024: Newport, VT 05855 St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the host North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT), 13-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Johnsbury Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to clash with the Bobwhites/Comets in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Bobwhites/Comets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Falcons now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Stowe for a non-league test on Friday, September 13.
