North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Johnston tips C.B. Aycock
September 10, 2024: Pikeville, NC 27863 The West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) volleyball held off the host C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hunt for a non-league game on Thursday, September 12. West Johnston will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.
The Golden Falcons (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Smithfield-Selma nudged Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
