New Jersey High School Soccer - Asbury Park nudged by Liberty
September 10, 2024: Jackson, NJ 08527 Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Asbury Park Bishops (Asbury Park, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Liberty advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ) to clash with the Hawks in a Shore B - South test on Thursday, September 12. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-1. Manchester Township lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ)
The Bishops now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Rose for a Shore B - Central test on Tuesday, September 10. Asbury Park will clash with a Purple Roses team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Middletown North (Middletown, NJ). The Purple Roses record now stands at 0-1.
