The Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Porcupines now possess a 17-11 record. They play next when they travel to Decatur for a 4A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, September 13. Springtown will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-11.

With the loss, Brewer drops to 10-12 on the campaign. The Bears host Aledo (Aledo, TX) to clash with the Bearcats in a bout on Friday, September 13. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 18-7. Aledo won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Midway (Waco, TX)
