Alabama High School Volleyball - Homewood can't get by Northridge
September 10, 2024: Homewood, AL 35209 Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Northridge advances its record to 7-9 on the season. The Jaguars host Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL) to face the Stampede in a 6A Area 6 test on Thursday, September 12. The Stampede go into the test with a record of 8-4. Paul W. Bryant won 25-14 in their recent league test against Central (Tuscaloosa, AL)
The Patriots now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parker for a 6A Area 9 test on Wednesday, September 11. Homewood will face a Thundering Herd squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 12-7.
