With the win, Port Neches-Groves improves its record to 18-12 on the season. The Indians travel to Lee (Baytown, TX) to face the Ganders in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Ganders go into the test with a record of 4-6. Lee lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Anahuac (Anahuac, TX)
The Raiders now own a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silsbee for a 4A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, September 17. Lumberton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-13.
