Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Conestoga knocks off Marple Newtown
September 10, 2025: Berwyn, PA 19312 The Conestoga Pioneers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pioneers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Strath Haven for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Conestoga will face a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
The Fightin' Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Aces enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lower Merion was overwhelmed by Penncrest (Media, PA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
