Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alexandria-Monroe advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to play the Indians in a challenge on Tuesday, September 16.
