Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA). The Redmen come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Lions play the Weston Wildcats (Weston, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Newton South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
