September 10, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) and the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), saw Ferndale's volleyball squad notch a victory over Meridian by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Ferndale improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to encounter the Mountaineers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Mountaineers go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Mt. Baker lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynden for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Meridian will battle a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
