September 10, 2025: Lynden, WA 98264 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) and the host Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA), observed Mount Vernon's volleyball team hold off Lynden Christian by a count of 2-1.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Anacortes tipped Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Lyncs now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellingham for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Lynden Christian will encounter a Bayhawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Bayhawks record now stands at 2-0.
