September 10, 2025: DePue, IL 61322 The Serena Huskers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host DePue/Hall Little Giants to 2 in the Huskers league victory on Wednesday.
The Huskers now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Coal City for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. Serena will play a Coalers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Streator/Woodland (Streator, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, DePue/Hall moves to 0-5 on the year. The Little giants host Kewanee (Kewanee, IL) to face the Boilermakers in a non-league game on Friday, September 12. The Boilermakers come into the game with a record of 2-6. Kewanee lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
