September 10, 2025: Tabor City, NC 28463 The South Columbus Stallions soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting East Columbus Gators to 0 in the Stallions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Stallions now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Brunswick for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. South Columbus will battle a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-1.
The Gators (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Vikings enter the Carolina 1A/2A contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, West Columbus by Lakewood (Roseboro, NC), 10-1, in a league contest.
