North Carolina High School Soccer - Elkin knocks off West Stokes
September 10, 2025: Elkin, NC 28621 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) and the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), saw Elkin's soccer squad triumph over West Stokes by a count of 8-0.
The Buckin' Elks (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Classical was overwhelmed by Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 16. West Stokes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 2-2 non-league Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC).
