New York High School Soccer - Oxford Academy toppled by Franklin Central
September 10, 2025: Franklin, NY 13775 Franklin Central Purple Devils (Franklin, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Oxford Academy Blackhawks (Oxford, NY), 7-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Franklin Central moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Purple Devils travel to Walton (Walton, NY) to confront the Warriors in a Midstate Athletic Conference outing on Monday, September 15. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Walton won 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton (Gilbertsville, NY)
