North Carolina High School Soccer - Union knocks off North Duplin
September 10, 2025: Rose Hill, NC 28458 In Wednesday's league outing, the host Union Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the North Duplin Rebels.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their test against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, West Bladen was overwhelmed by Pender (Burgaw, NC), 5-4, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Bladen for a Carolina 1A/2A test on Monday, September 15. North Duplin will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-2 league Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
