Illinois High School Soccer - Stagg knocks off Thornton
September 10, 2025: Palos Hills, IL 60465 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Stagg Chargers soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Thornton Wildcats.
The Chargers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Downers Grove North by St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Pritzker Jaguars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Thornton will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 4-1 league win over Noble Street College Prep (Chicago, IL).
