California High School Volleyball - Whitney edged by Kennedy
September 10, 2025: Cerritos, CA 90703 The Whitney Wildcats volleyball squad (Cerritos, CA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA)
The Fighting Irish (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Tillers enter the Empire challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Tustin was tipped by Valencia (Placentia, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) in a 605 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA).
