Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the visiting Northfield Norsemen (Wabash, IN), observed Norwell's volleyball team top Northfield by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Blackford notched a victory over Union (Modoc, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Norsemen now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabash for a Three Rivers battle on Thursday, September 11. Northfield will encounter a Apaches squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN). The Apaches record now stands at 10-2.
