Ohio High School Soccer - Brunswick knocks off Firelands
September 11, 2023: Brunswick, OH 44212 Brunswick Blue Devils (Brunswick, OH) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH), 5-1 in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Cleveland Heights for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 13. Brunswick will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 3-3 non-league Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Firelands drops to 4-2 on the season. The Falcons host Wellington (Wellington, OH) to meet the Dukes in a Patriot - Stars test on Wednesday, September 13. The Dukes come into the test with a record of 2-3. Wellington lost 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH)
