September 11, 2023: Stowe, VT 05672 In Monday's non-league bout, the visiting Colchester Lakers soccer team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Stowe Raiders.
With the victory, Colchester moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Lakers host St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Metro bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Hilltoppers enter the bout with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) in a Capital bout, on Wednesday, September 13. Stowe will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 2-2 non-league St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT).
