September 11, 2023: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT) and the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), saw Vergennes's soccer squad triumph over Lyndon Institute by a margin of 6-0.
The Commodores now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bellows Free Academy for a Mountain test on Wednesday, September 13. Vergennes will meet a Bullets squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Bullets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Lyndon Institute drops to 0-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT) to meet the Panthers in a Capital test on Saturday, September 16.
