September 11, 2023: Indian Head, MD 20640 In Monday's non-league game, the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) football team were victorious over the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), by a score of 16-2.
The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Patuxent was knocked off by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 34-6, in a non-league game.
The Rams now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Chopticon for a non-league game on Monday, September 18. McDonough will battle a Braves team coming off a 36-20 non-league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Braves record now stands at 3-0.
