September 11, 2023: Stuart, VA 24171 The Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) football edged the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA), 12-6 in Monday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 28. Patrick County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Dan River was nudged by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 42-16, in a non-league bout.
