September 11, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28303 Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the Oakwood Eagles (Greenville, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Fayetteville Academy will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC).
The Patriots now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rocky Mount Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Arendell Parrott Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-3 league win over Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
