September 11, 2023: Midland, MI 48640 The Dow Chargers soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Lapeer Lightning to 1 in the Chargers non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Chargers face the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Dow will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 5-0 league loss to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI).
The Lightning now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Midland for a non-league contest on Monday, September 18. Lapeer will face a Chemics team coming off a 5-1 league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Chemics record now stands at 5-4.
