Georgia High School Softball - Crisp County knocked off by Tift County
September 11, 2023: Cordele, GA 31015 In Monday's non-league contest, the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) softball team overwhelmed the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Tift County moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to play the Trojans in a 6A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 7-4. Lee County lost 10-2 in their recent league contest against Veterans (Kathleen, GA)
In their next game, the Cougars play the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Crisp County will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 11-1 record after their 13-4 league win over Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA).
