September 11, 2023: Energy, IL 62959 Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Gallatin County Hawks (Junction, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Knights clash with the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) in a South Egyptian match, on Thursday, September 14. Agape Christian will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Redskins come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Century (Ullin, IL).
With the loss, Gallatin County drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Galatia (Galatia, IL) to clash with the Bearcats in a Greater Egyptian match on Tuesday, September 12.
