September 11, 2023: Lineville, AL 36266 Winterboro Bulldogs (Alpine, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Faith Christian Lions (Anniston, AL) in a 1A Area 8 match, on Tuesday, September 12. Winterboro will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over White Plains (Anniston, AL).
With the loss, Central of Clay County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL) to clash with the Aggies in a 5A Area 8 match on Tuesday, September 12. The Aggies come into the match with a record of 9-8. Sylacauga won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Pell City (Pell City, AL)
